Land Clearing is a very broad subject that has different types of jobs, in different ways, and with different types and sizes of equipment.
Commercial and Residential is so different from each other that I had to divide them up into different categories. Sorry for the inconvenience.
When you work with a 45,000 # bulldozer it most of the time looks like the picture on the left which is great for a commercial job that everything is removed. But when you use a 17,000# bulldozer you can expect much greater results when you want to maneuver around other trees.
On a larger commercial job it is enough volume of debris to be worth while to bring in a big grinder to grind up all of the debris as compared to a smaller job, just bring in containers to haul off the debris. Usually a grinder is used if it is atleast 30-35 lds.+
